Carnage report, February 3rd

Killionaire! Game over, victory!

Sorry this is a little late, but, here’s the other night’s carnage report.

Game night was another great success. We had many people come and go, and played seven rounds across over 5 hours, and raised over a hundred dollars for Kill to Stop Cancer.

Round 1

First up, we played Neutral’s Halo inspired map, Alpha  Halo. We played for a while, and were joined by an old GSA veteran, Flame180.

Round 1 score:
1. Axel: 108
2. Flame180: 80
3. Jonb7: 31
4. Teh Sword Ninja: 23
5. Universe12: 21
(Total: 263)

Round 2

Next, we played a more obscure, older map. Here, the open space and shotguns made for quite the slaughter, though we didn’t stay too long. Also, Tempus decided to join us for this round. although he got slightly rekt.

Round 2 score:
1. Axel: 65
2. XForce: 29
3. Jonb7: 19
4. Tempus: 17
(Total: 130)

Next up, we went for a classic…

Round 3

For round three, we played the classic: Siege. This was a first for some of our players, and as always, it was epic madness. Unfortunately not many points were scored, due to the match being COOP, and the nature of this mode, but we had many players come and go, and the KTSC effort was certainly aided.

Truly this map will never get old. Although, discussions may have inspired new ideas…

Round 3 score:
1. Axel: 17
2. Shadow's End: 11
3. Jonb7: 6
4. Nighthawk: 5
(Total: 39)

And with the end of that round, we continued to another old favorite.

Round 4

As always, this map was absolute carnage. Not much needs to be said, to those who have played this map with lots of people.

Round 4 score:
1. Axel: 240
2. Flame180: 185
3. Rinzler: 146
4. Gawwy: 131
5. Jonb7: 117
6. XForce79: 46
7. Leejay: 2
(Total: 867)

Next up, Gawwy wanted to test one of his newer maps with us.

Round 5

(No preview available.)

This map was still very WiP, so we didn’t stay too long, or see many players here. But, Gawwy gained insights on his map, gladly.

Round 5 score:
1. Axel: 22
2. Gawwy:10
3. Flame180: 7
3. Reborn Shauna: 7
4. JaXon2: 4
5. Jonb7: 3
(Total: 53)

We decided to play another timeless classic, next.

Round 6

A map with many memories. We played 80 rounds of madness, here. Axel continued to hold his own on the battlefield, and stayed well ahead of the other contenders.

Round 6 score:
1. Axel: 94
2. Flame180: 54
3. Gawwy: 44
4. Jaxon: 41
5. XForce79: 24
6. Jonb7: 20
Shauna: 7
(Total: 284)

And so, we moved to the final round- At this point, we were very late into the night.

Round 7: Finale

Outside space.

(No preview available.)

Once again we held a final duel on this map, as the other players attempted to top Axel’s score. As always, it was an intense battle, but in the end, our champion held his lead.

Round 7 score:
1. Flame108: 205
2. Pzk: 139
3. Jonb7: 124
4. Shauna: 6
(Total: 474)

To conclude, game night went incredibly well. Not only did we all have lots of fun, but we did a little good for the community.

FINAL SCORE:
1. Axel: 546
2. Flame180: 531
3. Jonb7: 320
4. Gawwy: 185
5. Rinzler: 146
6. Pzk: 139
7. XForce79: 99
8. JaXon2: 45
9. Sword Ninja: 23
10. Universe12: 21
11. Tempus: 17
12. Shadow: 11
13. Shauna: 13
14. Night: 5
15. Leejay: 2
(Total: 2103 kills)

Axel remains the reigning Champion.

I’d like to thank everyone who joined us. Thanks to all of you, we raised a total of 129$ for KTSC, to be donated to help fight lung cancer.

Thank you, and I hope to see you all next time~

Carnage report, January 27th

am i the only one making posts now? wot the fok, guys.

Ahem. Hello, and welcome to another carnage report.

Last night we had plenty of participants, and played a few games, spanning over a little over four hours total.

Our first round was a close quarters, free for all slaughterhouse, a map created by one of our honored guests, K2shape. Visitors from the California servers came and went, but our participants quickly racked up a massive kill count.

Ultimately, K2shape won round 1, quickly reaching a goal of 100 kills.

Round 1 score:

1 K2Shape: 100
2 Shadows end: 73
3 MyLeslin: 58
4 Jonb7: 39
5 Pzk: 13

(A grand total of 283, not counting the uncounted visitors from the server.)

After 100, K2 left, and we went for another round. For round 2, we went for a classic.

One again a free for all, absolute chaos ensued on this map. The sound of gunfire constantly echoed in all corners of the map, with kills galore. Axel joined us, and quickly dominated the match, reaching over 250 kills, with Pzk and Shadow following closely.

We even met some potential recruits.

Round 2 score:

1 Axel: 258
2 Pzk: 236
3 Shadows end: 214
4 Jaxon: 137
5 Jonb7: 100
6 Silent Tiger: 19

(A total of 964 not counting some visitors from the server.)

After this glorious chaos, things calmed down a bit. We ended the night with a few special duels…

Outside Space

(No preview was available.)

Two duels were held on this map, to settle the finale of the game night. First, myself and Pzk, and visitors from the server, in an intense battle of wits and reflexes.

The first duel's score:
The Pzk: 31
Jonb7: 25

At this, Pzk gained first place over Shadow, and Axel decided to play one last round. It was another intense battle, putting us both to the test. In the end, Axel dominated the game night.

The second duel's score:
Axel: 80
Jonb7: 58

Overall, it was a great night. Four long rounds, and tons of insanity.

Final score:

1 - Axel: 338
2 - Shadows end: 287
3 - Pzk: 280
4 - Jonb7: 222
5 - Jaxon: 137
6 - K2shape: 100
7 - Lege: 58
8 - Silent Tiger: 19

(The total score for the entire game night, of the recorded participants, totals at 1441 kills.)

Axel is hereby crowned the Carnage master for this week.

I’d like to thank you all for coming, and, I hope to see you next week, as Axel defends his title from the coming challengers.

~See you next time around

Post-game Carnage report; January 6th

Yea! Game night was a huge success. This is what we should be doing more often.

We had plenty of guests and members, and overall this was a wonderful community event. I’d like to thank everyone who came, and I look forwards to next Friday.

Now, for the carnage report.

All around we had alot of great plays, and alot of epic battles. Our first match took place on our guest Teh Sword Ninja’s map, Real War (See above.), a wonderfully tactical reimagining of XDeath’s (crappy) old map. We played COOP, and after a few rounds we had full teams of three; Myself, Legenda, and our new member Spider Sonic on Red team, versus XForce, Boss/Rc and TehSwordNinja on Blue team.

Red team had a rocky start beginning with myself and Sonic, as SwordNinja proved to be a challenging opponent, and once our veteran player XForce joined in, it became a definitely uphill battle. Eventually Legenda joined red team, and Boss joined blue team, making the battle more even. Throughout the match, both teams showed superb team work, coordinating and suppressing, decieving, and flanking the enemy constantly, resulting in a wonderfully strategic warzone.

In the end, Blue team won by a landslide: 20 to 8. Sword Ninja won the kill count by a massive 45, and XForce took second place that game with 27 kills.

Next up, we played my own map, Rocket war.

This was a wonderfully hectic map, and we played it as a public game, free for all death match. Once we got plenty of players, it became wonderful chaos. XForce had left, but we had some new players, plus the people who joined from the cali server.

Through the madness, there were some amazing plays, and the map was constant fast paced action.

In the end, SwordNinja won again, this time with a massive 75 kill count. Tied for second place were Boss and Legenda, at 49 kills.

Afterwards, we played some less competitive maps, and slowly things died down. All in all, game night was a huge success.

In the end, TehSwordNinja won, by a massive landslide of 129 kills, earning him the title of Carnage Master for this game night.

Second place is Boss, who acquired 54 kills throughout the night.

Special mention to XForce, who achieved second place in our first match, and taught us all a thing or two, inspiring more team play. And, for being GSA’s best trainer throughout the years past. To us, he’ll always be our badass marshall.

All in all we had a wonderful time. I hope to see you all again, next friday, and perhaps more.

~Blam, said the lady.
