The clan of GSA has an extremely long and varied history, owing to the fact that GSA has existed since the year 2011. Despite this, we have persisted for many years without having a comprehensive record of our accomplishments and tribulations. This page aims to change that fact, and provide for both members and outsiders, present and future, a detailed look at our history.

First Era

The humble beginnings of GSA (Jan 2011-August 2011)

Long ago, in a time of which almost no physical records exist today, a clan named the Royal Air Legion, RAL, was formed. RAL began in early 2011, to no great initial success.  Unfortunately, the name of the original founder has been lost to time, but we know of two very prominent members in the clan – Blaze22b and jvinh1.

{RAL} grew slowly, to around 20 members, and eventually became entangled in a conflict with a larger, more powerful clan, called SNP. This war began around late March 2011, and involved quite a bit of infiltration on both sides. Eventually, one of the SNP spies gained Editor privileges on the RAL website, and it was all but destroyed.

Dismayed, many members of RAL left, and the clan as well as its website vanished. However, jvinh1 and Blaze22b gathered up the remaining RAL members and formed a new clan, GSA. These members worked together to create a new site and a new identity, and made an uneasy peace with SNP.

This peace did not last, however, as tensions rose once again towards the end of April, and once again the two clans were at war. This time the spying was much more devastating for GSA, and the remaining few members decided that it would be prudent to move to a new game and a new community that did not know them. It was at that point that GSA moved to Plazma Burst 2, and it was at that point that a true legend was born.

Second Era

GSA’s debut and rise in PB2 (August 2011-October 2011)

GSA, ravaged by their war with SNP, entered the PB2 scene in August 2011 with very few members at their disposition. At the time of GSA’s arrival, many clans had already died, most notably SK and G$. You see, the early days of PB2 were turbulent times.

PB2 rose in popularity very quickly after its February 2011 release, and soon thousands of people were navigating to its website and playing on multiplayer. In short time, clans were created by the regular players. Larger clans began seriously appearing in March 2011 and began inciting wars with each other. These early conflicts, continuing through the summer, caused the deaths of many clans.

Members from recently dead clans were searching for new homes, and many found one in GSA. In the following months, GSA, under Jason’s guidance, grew rapidly and conflicted with neighboring clans such as BoZ and ECF. These conflicts spread the word of GSA and, as a result, more people looked to join it.

As GSA grew, its reputation started to sour. Many PB2 players started to show resentment towards the clan. For a variety of reasons in which many now in this day is considered childish. One of the most common reason is the claim that members brutally kill any non-GSA on sight without any reason. This reason was enough for many to gather and form an insurrection known as Anti-GSA.

This group showed immense opposition towards the GSA as a whole. Often harassing and attacking any member on sight, making YouTube videos on them. Because of these slanderous claims made against the members. More and more people fell into the influence, especially those apart of the clan. Fortunately Anti-GSA didn’t stay alive enough for long. It eventually succumbed to inactivity especially due to lack of leadership, poor organization and no real motive. The insurrection dies soon after.

Despite successfully slandering the reputation of GSA as a clan. Its popularity was still maintained and new members joined gradually as it still remained one of the most popular clans during its early time.

Eventually, GSA had grown to a size which made it necessary to form divisions. Among these divisions were the Medics, led by Dr. Richtofen and the Elite Killers Association Task Force, known as EKAT and led by Miranda, the clan matriarch of GSA. It would be EKAT’s betrayal of GSA that would define the next three years of history for GSA.
