Regarding Government & Members & Law Updates

The Democratic vote to change the government has been finished. The people have chosen the third option which is:

3. Turn the FG into a Council type government. Here all FG ranks become equal, and no one has more authority over the other. But to incorporate a presidency-esque dealio, we will have an elected official join the council for maybe a month or so; these officials can be a part of the council and voice their opinions as the people’s voice

All of you are aware of what this will change in the FG. When the FG become a Council, all of the ranks will dissolve into one Councillor rank. This will create a total of 7 Councillor members and will promote the Sub-FG into the Council. When this is successfully formed, the council will vote on a Head-Councillor or a Chancellor-type leader to govern the FG and keep order. On top of this, a member of the clan will be elected as a Councillor for a 30 day term to substitute for the lack of a presidency. That last tid-bit was probably the deal breaker which lead most of you to vote for it. Sadly, the FG cannot allow this.

The Founder’s Group’s role in the GSA is to guide the clan through the most rough of situations and govern the clan. Dissolving the FG into a Council and limiting its power to efficiently moderate the sovereignty of this clan is not beneficial to the clan. Our job is to reform the clan when necessary and do what we have to do to keep GSA going down the path we believe is the right path to take toward another Golden Age.

Because Nickman stepped down in such a hurry, the next highest rank took on the responsibility of Clan Leader. Because there are two Grand Advisors, the GSA is now lead by 2 Co-Leaders. I’ve spoken with Eagle and the other FG about this privately, and we feel it necessary for this next controversial action.

Pzk_M is banished from GSA for instigating rebellion and refusal to follow orders, and for the act of the manipulation the GSA members. Furthermore, his voice has created unrest and division throughout the clan, and because of this the continued support of Pzk’s ideals will result in the further banishment of rebels as well. Pzk and his supporters will not be given trial, for treason is a capital offense and a unanimous decision is made to banish them. Also, any and all GSA members residing in Pzk’s Discord chat will either be forced to leave, or will be banished along with Pzk.

53. Contact or communication of any sort with banned players or isolated clans without the permission of the FG is prohibited. [FG Implemented] (P: 1st Degree, 2nd Degree, 3rd Degree)

To conclude, the FG have decided that the current government is still in need of minor adjustment, so we will be going along with the first Government listed.

1. Have a Post-Jason (as in the government we had when Jason left) like government, where we will have 3 Clan Leaders (The 2 GA’s as of now, + a 3rd member chosen by the FG) that will check and balance each other, as well as for support should the public attack one of the 3. This way power does not rest in the hands of any one member, seeing as I doubt any of us trust anyone like that without Nick here. These 3 will work together to fill the void left by Nick-Sama, the FG beneath them will remain in tact. After this is voted into place, a new vote may be held to decide whether to promote the Supremes to GA’s and COO’s to Supremes to fill that void, which will require either promotion of lower ranks to COO’s, or the abolition of the COO rank, seeing as there will be no more FG to promote to it. Or to abolish either the GA or COO ranks altogether (no-one’s job is in danger, stop sweating).

When this is all over, Nighthawk will be given the third spot in the Clan Leader position. On top of this a extensive law reform is in order for GSA, and a public meeting will be scheduled in the future so that the people may have a say in the laws that are created.

Any further questions may be answered in the comments.

I’ma Banana,

Reaper

  1. the best thing to do is abolish the fg completely, have a council of people elected by the general populace, and in that council have everyone completely equal. It would stop all this nonsense and be completely fair and stop dictatorship forming.

    • That is incredibly stupid, the clan would be gone in a month, yes it would stop all this bullshit, but they wouldn’t know how to run it or they would be soemone with ill intent to the clan.

      • there’s 7 people in the council, one person wouldn’t be able to affect policy at all as you would need a majority vote of 4 to pass it. The clan would not be gone in a month, it would stabilise it. And basically everyo ne in GSA who is over SGT has had experiance running either GSA or another clan.

  2. Let’s compare the option one government type from the discussion post and the one here.

    Before Edits:

    Remarkably similar.

In fact, one may not even recognize the small but very significant change that Banana made to it in his post. In the original post the phrase “a 3rd member chosen by the people” turned into “a 3rd member chosen by the FG” in the edited one.

Why is this necessary, Banana? Do you not trust the people that you lead? Don’t you understand that trusting his constituents is one of the primary things a leader must do in order to be effective? Do you think that a person who voices the people’s opinion is a danger to GSA?

Quite obviously, you do – otherwise you would have never made this post.

  3. To directly challenge your accusation – ANYTHING I may or may not have said regarding the FG is fully supported by my rights as a GSA member – rights that you and the rest of GSA ratified. These rights are specifically Rights 3 and 5. In the case you attempt to edit them, I have taken screenshots of them and am also quoting them here.

Second Right: The right to speak freely, without the permission of a higher rank or the CL. This may be temporarily revoked if ordered upon by a superior officer, if he/she has good cause. This does not give you the power to insult people. Calmly give an opinion.

Fifth Right: The right to ask for questioning/overturning of a Founder Members decision. But NOT overturn it without the Majority Vote.

You must understand that even if I had said what you accuse me of saying – I would be fully protected until I actually acted on those words. But you weren’t content with firing me and violating those two rights only. No, something possessed you to violate another one of my rights – my second right.

Second Right: The right to ask for a right and impartial trial.

You told me in the chat (of which I have screenshots of, if anyone wants to see) that I was denied this right because I was an enemy of the state (interesting way to put it), but while I look on the site, I was never able to find a law that justified this. In fact, even if I did, you had presented no evidence whatsoever pertaining to the fact that I even was an enemy of the state.

To summarize, my firing was directly at odds with the constitution, you have violated three of my rights while also breaking two or more laws (which we can get at later). Since my firing was unlawful, I will be respectfully requesting a fair and impartial trial…for the second time.

    Thanks for reading.
