Duels or Raids?

Which system should GSA mainly use to fight its wars, and why?

Raid (+): 3

Duel (-): 3

Both (=): 7

THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL VOTE TO DETERMINE ANYTHING.  IT IS TO SEE THE OPINIONS OF THE MEMBERS.  Non-GSAs are not to vote.

  1. It’s not likely that duels will truly determine our end result, but it does help with ‘official skirmishes’ as we do more damage overall with raids.

    + to raids.
*With exception to designated clan-v-clan duels.

  2. I want to do duels to show that we have a sense of honor and show that we can be trusted in a battle with our fellow members and allies. Raids would further make hate on non and other clans.Duel shows we can be more civilized than a raid.plus we do Duels to make promotions and make some challenges for ourselves and other clan members.

  3. I agree with Banana. GSA should utilize both Raids and Duels. Raids make the “war” seem more like a real war with the capturing of enemy Bases/Fortresses and the defending of your own. It also brings on the idea of “shoot on sight” which gives me the impression of all out war instead of a friendly match. However duels should be used as well. I like to think of them as the showdown when both sides line up for a straight up fight.
Raids – in both defending and attacking- show the Clan’s overall strength. While Duels show the combatants individual skills.

Raids have always been a part of clan wars. It lets the lower ranking members do something in the wars, such as map making and giving aids while the higher ranking members usually do duels.

Wars in Pb2 are fought primarily through attrition. Raids stop enemies from recruiting and can lower morale. Theyre more like battles, while duels are small skirmishes.
We should still do duels just for fun i guess, but not as means of war.
